Structural Imaging in Autism Reserach.

Structural neuroimaging provides a picture of the brain. From this picture we can see the different brain structures such as the ventricles (fluid filled spaces) and the different lobes of the brain. Differences in the size of these structures and other structures can be compared among individuals. The technique that is used in this study is structural magnetic resonance imaging (sMRI).
