Female Adolescent Depression Project:

Is your daughter DEPRESSED?

Participate in a BRAIN IMAGING study at STANFORD UNIVERSITY

At the Stanford Psychiatry Neuroimaging Laboratory, we are using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to study symptoms of depression in girls.  MRI is safe, non-invasive, and does not use X-rays or radiation.

If your daughter participates, she will earn $150 & a picture of her brain!

Who Can Participate?

GIRLS between the ages of 10 and 18 who:

  • Speak English
  • Have no braces or non-removable piercings
  • Have past or current symptoms of DEPRESSION (including bipolar)
